Mallard Co. Ltd (Qawra Palace Resort And SPA) in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Group Relations Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to join our Sales Team as a Group Relations Coordinator. Reporting and working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Group Relations Coordinator will be the first point of contact for our clients.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Handling group inquiries and developing group quotations and contracts
- Ability to build and maintain relations with new and existing clients
- Blocking and booking of room quotas and management of group reservations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Adhere to group deposits and cancellations policies
- To maintain accurate filing systems for all group correspondence.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is an asset
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is required whilst a good knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Great personal presentation and welcoming personality.
