ST Hotels Malta is currently looking to recruit a Group Corporate and Events Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
As part of the Sales Team, your work will involve overseeing the booking and reservation of rooms and facilities in our hotels. You shall be collaborating with other hotel staff to ensure that our guests have a good stay or event with us. Typically, you will be working closely with the Reservations and Front Office teams as well as with out Marketing Consultants.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain an active corporate list and have a focused sales approach
Provide other departments with timely sales-related information as necessary
Track events happening in Malta and monitor availability in our hotels
Maintain and ensure a high level of exposure for our hotels through direct sales solicitation
Monitor guest service quality especially for Corporate and Groups guests
Identify and qualify, especially for corporate and Groups guests
Manage RFPs and ensure that leads are followed up and closed in a timely manner
Process requests from customised services for guests, such as room decoration
Coordinate and organise event details
Maintain contact with guests post-stay for potential repeat business
Assess sales performance and recommend adjustments to increase revenue
Presenting reports to management as required.
Requirements:
Fluency in written and spoken English
Background within Events management and/or hotel industry
Ability to use customer relationship management systems, company intelligence tools & sales databases
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowePoint
Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and manage time effectively
Good communication, organization and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail
Flexibility from time to time or in circumstances when requested by Management.
