Are you ready to be the first impression of luxury and hospitality? ME Malta is seeking a highly motivated Front Office Agent to join our vibrant team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Check-in and check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional service-oriented manner.     
  • Process all payments according to established procedures.    
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner in accordance with the hotel’s standards.   
  • Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location. 
  • Up-sell rooms when possible, to maximize hotel revenue. 
  • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.  
  • Complete any required reporting (financial and non-financial). 
  • Assist with Reservations tasks. 
  • Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.    
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints.   
  • Make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.    
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel service, facilities, and hours of operation. 
  • Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc. 
  • Collaborate on and follow company policies, practices, and procedures in order to maintain internal controls. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

Requirements:  

  • Candidate must be available to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.    
  • Must be fluent in English; other languages are preferred.    
  • 1-year experience in a fast environment in the same or similar position in a hotel/resort.  
  • Passionate for Hospitality and with a strong attitude to interpersonal relationships 
  • Good telephone persona with a friendly and helpful demeanor 
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel 
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud is highly regarded.
