Demi Chef de Parte Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to high standards.
• Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
• Supervise and train commis chefs and kitchen assistants in your section.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with senior chefs to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines, ensuring dishes are prepared accurately and taste consistently.
• Assist with menu development by contributing ideas and testing new recipes.
• Ensure all food preparation and storage comply with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Step in for the Chef de Partie as needed, managing the section and ensuring service continuity.
