Cavalieri Art Hotel in Malta is looking to recruit a Commis Chef to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
The Commis Chef is responsible for assisting in all parts of the operation on a daily basis as instructed by the direct superior and/or any other leading kitchen brigade member.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
To facilitate a working atmosphere based on respect, collaboration, and continuous learning
The implication in the training of the kitchen helpers
Production and Service:
To help with the preparation and service of the staff menu
At the end of each service, clear and clean the buffet area
Organization and cleaning of own work area, the utensils used, machinery, cold room, and chambers.
Awareness and fulfillment of the Safety, Health, and Hygiene Regulations and the Departmental Regulations Manual.
