Job Description
Cavalieri Art Hotel in Malta is looking to recruit a Commis Chef to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role: 
The Commis Chef is responsible for assisting in all parts of the operation on a daily basis as instructed by the direct superior and/or any other leading kitchen brigade member.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Human Resources:

• To facilitate a working atmosphere based on respect, collaboration, and continuous learning
• The implication in the training of the kitchen helpers

Production and Service:

• To help with the preparation and service of the staff menu
• At the end of each service, clear and clean the buffet area
• Organization and cleaning of own work area, the utensils used, machinery, cold room, and chambers.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Positive, helpful attitude towards customers
• Attending to customers' wishes and suggestions
• Impeccably clean uniform, well-groomed physical appearance
• Implementation in the work plans set in motion.

Health and Safety:

• Awareness and fulfillment of the Safety, Health, and Hygiene Regulations and the Departmental Regulations Manual.
