Sky Gourmet Malta Ltd is looking to recruit a Commis Chef to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Reporting to:
Head Chef and Sous Chefs.

Summary of Functions:  
Provide efficient cooking/ Preparation for the daily production needs of the company, work and follow all the standard HACCP of the Company, while cooking/ assembling in accordance with the required SOP Recipes.


  • To live in Malta, Fluent in English (Writing and Speaking).

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily Cooking/ Assemble for the required productions and following all the company standards while performing all tasks
  • Plating and Assembling of all Dishes according to SOP Recipe with High Standards and following required Measures to do so.
  • Ensure that the area within his/her responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed.
  • Perform additional duties in different Kitchen Sections if needed.
  • Be flexible and able to work in different areas and shifts.
  • Carry out work safely and responsibly.
  • Maintain a high level of personal hygiene, be well-groomed and wear a clean uniform.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in a Hot/Cold temperature environment.
  • Activities include extended periods of standing and extensive work interfacing with people.
