Radisson Blu St Julian's in Malta is looking to recruit an ambitious, determined, and highly motivated Chief Steward to join their team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Senior Sous Chef, this position requires an individual to maintain the general cleanliness and sanitary of all Food and Beverage areas assigned by the Senior Sous Chef and supervise the kitchen porter employees.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to a Senior Sous Chef in supervising the kitchen porters.
- Responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitary of all food and beverage areas assigned by the Senior Sous chef
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment such as covers, steamers, fryers, and potato and vegetable peelers.
- Follow all HACCP procedures and upkeep
- Meet any other requests given by the Management team.
Education and requirements:
- The selected candidate would be hard working, with leadership skills and with an eye for detail for this job
- A food handling license is a must.
