Chef de Partie
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible in ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to deliver a consistent and exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with company and health and safety standards.
• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock control, and organization of your section.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Support other sections when required to maintain kitchen efficiency.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready for the next step.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A passion for delivering excellent food and attention to detail.
• Basic food hygiene certificate
