Ruby GmbH in Malta is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager Reservations (m/f/d) (German Speaking) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Be among our first team members to join our newly founded Corporate Office in Valletta, Malta, and help us to build up this brand new office location, the team on-site, and support us with the implementation of a communication structure with the Corporate Office in Munich.
Duties and responsibilities that will excite you at Ruby, as you will be:
Taking over the deputy management of the reservations team and the centralised front office
Maximising guest satisfaction with ever-increasing revenue targets while minimising reservation costs
An expert as well as an advisor regarding all operational tasks as well as optimising the individual reservations
Coordinating staff to ensure optimal utilisation of department capacity
Onboarding and coaching staff on-site in the hotels in the front office area
Maintaining the PMS, coordinating and monitoring the online booking engine and front office kiosk system in collaboration with Revenue & Distribution/Group Reservations/Marketing.
Get in touch, if you have/are:
A successfully completed training in the hotel industry
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the areas of reservation or front office and at least 2 years of experience in managing a team of more than 5 employees
Excellent communication and interaction skills
A high degree of commitment and self-motivation
A team player with a high sense of responsibility and quality consciousness
Very good knowledge of common reservation systems and MS Office
Excellent written & spoken German and English skills
