Ably Resources clients in Malta are seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to support the Food and Beverage Service Manager in the daily duties.
Responsibilities:
- Ordering goods for the stock
- Maintain stock levels and stock rotation
- Return of any items not up to standard
- Report and liaise regularly with the Operations Manager and the Food & Beverage Service Manager
- Ensure supervisors are informed of any relevant information or issues.
- Prepare timesheets and rotas
- Ensure staffing levels are appropriate per duty
- Take over the duties in the absence of the Food and Beverage Service Manager when necessary
- Conduct the training and development of new staff
- Handle money transactions, cash float, and billing procedures.
- Handle Catering functions outside of the hotel when necessary
Requirements:
- Be computer literate
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Have experience working in a similar position.
