A new role as an HSE Executive is available within a leading company. Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that the sites comply with established safety and HSE procedures and legislation
Updating, reviewing, implementing and monitoring the HSE systems
Providing advice and guidance to all Site Managers on health and safety, and environmental issues
Attending periodic training as may be required and to organise training of staff on HSE issues
Acting as the designated representative of group facilities in HSE regulatory roles as may be required, and submiting reporting requirements to authorities accordingly
Assisting Plant Managers with implementation of IPPC (Integrated Pollution prevention and control permits) requirements, where applicable
Carrying out safety audits and liaising with authorities for inspections. And responsible for all HSE Monitoring
Compiling a study of all HSE Legislation, rules and regulations for the group. And responsible for all administrative tasks related to HSE
Facilitating a safe environment for all sides, and being responsible for all HSE Operations
Skill-sets and Requirements
Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese, both verbal and written
Has an innate awareness of health and safety, and environmental legislation
Able to keep calm under stressful situations, and have excellent time management skills
Has excellent interpersonal skills and is extremely meticulous
Education & Experience
Minimum of Diploma Level in Occupational Health and Safety or similar
Minimum of 2 years local experience within a similar role
