HSE Executive

A new role as an HSE Executive is available within a leading company. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that the sites comply with established safety and HSE procedures and legislation
• Updating, reviewing, implementing and monitoring the HSE systems
• Providing advice and guidance to all Site Managers on health and safety, and environmental issues
• Attending periodic training as may be required and to organise training of staff on HSE issues
• Acting as the designated representative of group facilities in HSE regulatory roles as may be required, and submiting reporting requirements to authorities accordingly
• Assisting Plant Managers with implementation of IPPC (Integrated Pollution prevention and control permits) requirements, where applicable
• Carrying out safety audits and liaising with authorities for inspections. And responsible for all HSE Monitoring
• Compiling a study of all HSE Legislation, rules and regulations for the group. And responsible for all administrative tasks related to HSE
• Facilitating a safe environment for all sides, and being responsible for all HSE Operations

• Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese, both verbal and written
• Has an innate awareness of health and safety, and environmental legislation
• Able to keep calm under stressful situations, and have excellent time management skills
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and is extremely meticulous

• Minimum of Diploma Level in Occupational Health and Safety or similar
• Minimum of 2 years local experience within a similar role
• Proficient in MS Office
