Health & Safety Officer

We have a new Health & Safety officer position within one of the leading manufacturing clients both locally and internationally, focusing on fabrics. Reporting directly to the Technical Service Manager, you will be responsible for: 

• Assisting in inspections of production and technical services 
• responding to and investigating any concerns raised by operators and other employees
• investigating accidents or injuries that may occur in the workplace
• Preparing SOPs relevant to health and safety regulations as specified by local legislation and ISO standards
• Ensuring continuous monitoring of employee practices
• Ensuring all HSE equipment are up to standard and all employees have all updated certifications in hand

• Good organizational skills
• General knowledge of workplace safety, health and environment issues
• knowledgeable on local legislation relevant to health, safety and environment

• Education, training and experience relevant to health, safety and environment
