Job Description
Borg Falzon Dental Care Centre in Malta is looking to recruit a Dental Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. 

About the Role:
You will be supporting the dental surgeon with various dental, cleaning, and administration tasks, on varied shifts throughout the week. Shifts will be within clinic hours Monday - Friday, however, there may be the occasional requirement for you to work on Saturday (day shift) in the absence of other dental assistants. 

Date of job commencement:
June 2022.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients entering the clinic and surgery;
• Making appointments and managing the clinic diary;
• Answering the telephone;
• Assisting the dental surgeon with all dental care cases (including emergency cases);
• Adhering to protocols as per legal requirements;
• Recording of treatment information in patient histories;
• Basic cleaning and administration tasks.

Requirements: 

• Candidates with any experience in nursing, healthcare, or dentistry would be considered an asset.

Other information: 

• Term: Permanent;
• Hours: 20hrs (scope for overtime);
• Probation Period: 6 Months.
