Our client, a Global company within the FinTech industry, is recruiting a General Manager to join their growing company. As the General Manager your responsibilities would include:
Overseeing the organisation's business activities in Malta, whilst developing and implementing strategies across all local business functions
Assisting the Head Office in maintaining relationships with clients, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business’ objectives
Liaising with the the local HR and Talent Acquisition teams to push company growth whilst assisting on HR matters when escalated
Being involved in various committees as required by the Maltese regulator
Driving strategic meetings within the team to help set program direction and priorities
Developing and maintaining office staff wellbeing budgets
Assisting in marketing and PR.
Working closely with the HR team to set policies and processes
Preparing regular reports for the executive team at Head Office
Skill-sets and Requirements
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in both Maltese & English
Extremely organised, and a strong work ethic
Fantastic interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Education & Experience
Degree in Business Management or Masters in Business Administration or equivalent
Previous Local Experience within the FinTech industry is a must, with a preference towards payments experience
