Job vacancy: Chief Executive Officer

Nydoz Ltd is an Employment Agency in Malta, and they are seeking to hire a Chief Executive Officer who will be responsible for managing all business areas and organizational structure, driving profitability, and strategy, and communicating with the Board of Directors.

Such Chief Executive Officer will also act as a representative of the Company and “Competent Person” before Department for Industrial and Employment Relations

MUST HAVE Requirements:

  • Minimum 25 years old (due to experience) 
  • Person of good moral character, a role model for those around her/him
  • No criminal record
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in People Management roles 
  • University Degree or Diploma in any of the following fields: 
    • Business Administration, Business Management 
    • Human Resource Management
    • Finance, Economics
    • Any other field that is relevant to the management of an employment agency or employment business 
  • English level - Fluent or Native Like.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Representative of the Company and “Competent Person” before Department for Industrial and Employment Relations
  • Oversee the strategic direction of the agency. Synthesize results coming from lower level management and decide on the long-term plans of the company.
  • Analyze the effects of long-term growth initiatives, planning, new strategies, and regulatory actions.
  • Supervise implementation of changes and proposed plans. Work with leadership to implement the long-term vision. Changes may be executed by lower level management, however the result is ultimately in the ownership of the CEO.
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
  • Communicate externally and meet media obligations and public relations. Act as the face of the agency and conduct yourself in a business appropriate manner in media, at conferences, community events or per need.
  • Collaborate with other leadership executives and create a culture of ownership and accountability within the company that supports things getting done without the CEO overseeing every aspect of the business. 
  • Regular reporting to the Board of Directors, delivering updates on strategic plans and results. Obtain and implement feedback from the board on the overall direction of the company. 
  • Perform accurate analysis of financial trends and budgets to help the Board of Directors increase credibility and authority.
  • Owner of the P&L. Put in place and maintain KPI reporting structures and scorecards that support monitoring the financial performance of the agency. Expand the metrics driven approach throughout the company and create a company culture based on data driven results. 
  • Implement, improve, and enforce policies and procedures that will increase the financial and operational effectiveness of the company.
  • Work with the finance team to develop a solid cash flow projection and reporting mechanism, which includes setting a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Provide expert financial guidance and advice to others within executive leadership. Improve the planning and budgeting process continually by educating departments and key members of corporate leadership.
  • Foster a culture and work environment that drives excellent results and where employees look up to the CEO as a leadership role model. Protect company culture and utilize it to roll out key people management processes in the company.
  • Evaluate the company’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase in operating efficiencies.
  • Work with leadership to build scalable processes for all areas of the business and put in place training programs to support fast and efficient onboarding for employees.
  • Mentor and interact with staff members at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among the senior executive team and all staff members.
