The Role and Its Impact
This Finance Officer position plays a key role in the financial operations of Betsson Group, reporting directly to our Financial Reporting Manager, who is a driving force behind our financial strategy and operations.
A Flavour of What You'll Be Doing
As a Finance Officer at Betsson Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial record-keeping and reporting systems, and assisting with ad-hoc reporting.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain financial records including processing of invoices and payments, recording accruals and prepayments, and reconciling balances, whilst keeping in mind actual costs vs budget (through purchase order system or otherwise)
- Assist in the annual budget process for operational expenditure, and maintain these through updates where relevant to ensure realistic forecasts are in place
- Update journals and uploading/posting in Microsoft Business Central
- Assisting in day-to-day tasks relating to vendor payouts, and queries in this regard
- Assist in analysis as required from time to time
- Liaise with auditors as part of the audit process, as well as assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Assist in other Finance related tasks (if applicable)
You’re Good At
- Qualified accountant (ACCA or Master’s in Finance).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Fluent in English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (an asset).
- Experienced in finance processes and systems enhancements (an asset).
- Understanding accounting terminology.
- Managing priorities in a dynamic environment while ensuring accuracy of deliverables.
- Working independently, solving challenges, and maintaining a strong focus on business priorities.
- Analytical thinking and teamwork.
