Finance Officer

Quintano Foods Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.
 
Job Role:
A vacancy has arisen for the post of Finance Officer within Quintano Foods Limited.  Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the process of managing the accounts payable cycle and the inventory function that by monitoring stock usage and movements.

The selected candidate will be required to:

• Prepare supplier reconciliations and keep track of ad hoc payments required to be made on a monthly basis
• Initiating payment processes to suppliers from the banking system
• Liaising with suppliers on any reconciling items and following up on receipt of credit notes and sending of remittance advice
• Maintaining account ledgers and appropriate reconciliations
• Working with various stakeholders to improve the accounts payable process, controls and analysis
• Liaising with the various stakeholder on preparing and maintaining an inventory count schedule
• Attending weekly stock takes, updating the system accordingly and discussing with the Finance Manager any discrepancies noted
• Any other related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

The selected candidate will:

• Have an A Level of education in Accounts
• Preferably is completing his / her ACCA qualification
• Be self-motivated; motivated and capable to work independently under minimal supervision
• Be ICT literate; systematic and familiar with problem-solving methodologies
• Be a team player.
