Finance Executive (Partly Qualified)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Partly Qualified Finance Executive to join one of our reputable clients in the Retail Industry. This position offers broad exposure across key finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and end-to-end support of daily financial operations.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with solid finance experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to contributing to the company’s financial efficiency and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and forecasts; support month-end and year-end closing; perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Manage payables and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing; monitor outstanding payments and support credit control efforts.
• Maintain financial records in line with company policies and accounting standards; assist in implementing internal controls, guided by an external consultant.
• Provide support in VAT and indirect tax filings, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
• Contribute to daily finance operations and ad-hoc tasks; support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to queries.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Partly qualified in a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent.
• Previous local experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally in a corporate environment.
