Our clients, a well know Financial Services Provider is looking to recruit a Factoring Operations Specialist into their growing team.
Responsibilities:
Security Documentation perfection prior to transaction handling
Account management and setup
All Factoring related transactional processing
Transactional Documents Checking
Liaise with Buyers accounting departments to verify/reconcile the outstanding ledger balances, obtain relevant information related to the receipt of underlying goods and confirm timely receipt of payments
Handle collections and allocate funds accordingly
Co-ordinate cheque clearing with local banks/appointed agent in a timely manner.
Ensure any facility deviations or exceptions are appropriately approved, documented and regularly reviewed.
Escalate delay in payments/uncleared cheques to Line Manager/Head of Operations
Ensure adherence to systems, workflows & procedures for all activities as defined in respective manuals
Ensure proper controls to minimise the operational risks
Monitor and manage Debt Management Activities including collection and follow up procedures to control the overdues and minimise the losses arising out of it.
Ensure proper and timely MIS circulation to the Clients for proper control and communication flow
Record Operational Incidents in appropriate systems in place
Skill-sets and Requirements
Previous experience handling Factoring Operations and debt collection
Greek Language speaking, reading & writing proficiency would be considered an asset
Superior analytical and Investigatory Skills
compliance with PolMust have a solid understanding of policies and Procedures, FCI Rules for International Factoring and all statutory Bodies as applicable to the Factoring Operations.
Education & Experience
A tertiary degree preferably within Banking and Finance
