Hili Ventures is seeking a Director of Finance (Projects) to lead the standardisation of financial reporting and drive process optimisation across subsidiaries. This project-based role requires the ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions independently.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing standardised financial reporting KPIs and templates, auditing and improving financial processes and providing hands-on support to subsidiary finance teams. The role will also involve training teams on new processes and collaborating on the rollout of group-wide financial changes. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for delivering clear, actionable recommendations and ensuring successful adoption across the group.

The Director may also be seconded to the Group’s subsidiaries as interim Director of Finance to support key initiatives or to fill critical leadership positions when needed.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field and be a qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA or equivalent), with at least 4 years’ experience in senior finance roles, including project-based work or consultancy within a large organisation. Expertise in financial reporting and process optimisation is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and to independently identify and implement solutions. Advanced proficiency in financial systems, including ERP platforms, and Microsoft Suite tools (particularly Excel) is required. The candidate should be proactive, hands-on, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Flexibility to travel for secondments and project-based assignments is also necessary.
