Chief Financial Officer (Manufacturing)

Within this job of a Chief Financial Officer you will be reporting to the Managing Director within a well established manufacturing company.  You will be accountable to lead the financial, cost and risk management of the company while ensuring the efficient and effective deployment of company assets. 

Main duties are here under:

• Develop and implement the finance and cost strategy for the one to five year horizon in support of the business overall strategy
• Ensure proper evaluation and valuation of projects and secure the necessary funding
• Evaluate, manage and mitigate financial and other risks in collaboration with the management team
• Oversee and review the preparation, analysis and communication to management of budgets, cash management, financial accounts and credit exposure
• Oversee and review the preparation and analysis of management accounts, investment appraisals and variance analysis
• Evaluate, adopt and maintain policies, procedures and internal controls and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.  Review and analyse processes for continuous improvement
• Support the Board in ensuring a robust Internal Audit function is in place to assess and report on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes
• Building working relationships with banks, financial advisors, insurance agencies, credit agencies, financial regulators and other financial instituations as relevant
• Oversee the liquidity management process to manage the Company's bank portfolio of assets and liabilities
• Structure and lead the finance and cost teams
