Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Our client is a renowned comoany on the Maltese islands. As they are growing. they would like to employ a Chief Financial Officer(CFO). You will be reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer.

The Role

•  You will member of the Senior Management Team and will provide important advise on the business and business ventures.
• Their role involves developing the financial strategic vision and overseeing its implementation to safeguard assets and maximize shareholder returns. 
• You will lead the financial strategy, investment decisions, and investor relations across the company brands. 
• You will monitor strategic plan implementation and develop financial strategies to support growth and compliance.
• Collaboration with senior management is essential to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements. 
• You must ensure accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial trends, maintaining credibility of the finance team. 
• You will oversee all finance and accounting functions, implementing internal controls and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Building relationships with banks, governmental bodies, and stakeholders is a key responsibility. 
• You will also ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 

• You must be fully qualified accountant and CPA warranted.
• Have a minimum of 5 years senior experience in finance leadership.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, & or hospitality will be a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of financial governance, internal controls, and risk management.
• Have excllent communication and negotiation skills.
• Must be of high integrity and dependability.
