Joseph Azzopardi CPA, a small Audit Firm in Malta, is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join his team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression and the selected candidate will be reporting directly to the partner.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake assignments for a portfolio of clients in diverse sectors;
- There is an opportunity for career advancement and a good office environment typical in a small audit firm.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience to be able to work autonomously;
- Ideally, a graduate or accountancy student who reached the final stages prior to qualification;
- A good understanding of taxation for both local and international is also required.
Joseph Azzopardi FCCA, FIA, CPA, MBA(Warwick):
Joseph is 58 years old and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He was granted a warrant of Certified Public Accountant to practice as an auditor in Malta in 1991. He graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from Warwick Business School in the UK in 1995. Joseph runs an audit practice with a diverse portfolio of international and local clients. The client portfolio includes a number of entities that have interests in multiple jurisdictions and include businesses related to technology, financial services, and online gaming. Joseph is the sole partner of the firm where the practice areas include audit and assurance and taxation services. The increase in demand for the firm’s services has provided a vacancy for a new addition to the audit eam.
