Circledesk Limited in Malta is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Daily processing of withdrawal requests;
- Daily reconciling between the various internal and external platforms;
- Weekly Payment Provider reconciliations;
- Checking and clearing of suspense accounts;
- Taking ownership of new PSPs ensuring the ability to properly navigate their backend so as to check and administer correctly;
- Month-end reconciliations of all platforms;
- Assist with ad hoc project work within the wider finance function;
- Assist in technical backlog items, end-user testing, bug alerting and monitoring;
- Analyse the current processes and suggest improvements to make them more efficient;
- Optimize the general reconciliation processes by building metrics and reports on findings;
- Independently determine transaction issues, investigate differences, perform multiple checks on available platforms and discuss with other departments, and prepare recommendations to clear pending items;
- Understanding the link of entries between our systems versus the subsystems and their impact on the reconciliation process;
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, quantify, and mitigate financial mistakes;
- Determine damaging activities and be able to act according to procedures while proposing more efficient solutions or ideas;
- Helping in the conversion of crypto-payments;
- Helping the finance team with the preparation of Audit documents;
- Any other task as requested by your manager.
Requirements:
- Possess Bachelor of Accountancy, ACCA, ACA, or similar professional qualification;
- 1/2 year/s post qualification experience, preferably coming from a gaming industry or a big 4 audit firm;
- Advanced proficiency in excel will be considered an asset;
- Be able to prioritise and manage work with a very good eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills;
- Excellent oral and written skills in Maltese & English;
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills;
- Integrity and professional ethics;
- Diligent and able to work on your own initiative, whilst possessing good team skills;
- Self-motivated, passionate, reliable, flexible, resilient and takes initiative;
- Confident, charismatic, driven, determined, logical, analytical, sharp and good strategic planner;
- Excellent organisational skills and a great multi-tasker;
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure;
- Be able to prioritise and manage work without losing attention to detail;
