VoIP Systems Engineer

As a VoIP Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Core Networks team responsible for the correct installation, operation and maintenance of Melita’s state-of-the-art fixed telephony SIP/cloud platforms including underlying IP network and local/international carrier interconnections, within Melita's technical operations centre. This technical role is focused on delivering Melita’s VoIP services to residential and business customers, in a consistent and reliable manner. Key Responsibilities:

• Researching, recommending, and implementing technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting of problems and providing timely corrective action.
• Introducing new equipment while maintaining equipment under responsibility.
• Report generation and data analysis.
• Monitoring and analysing technical reports.
• Preparing technical procedures and delivering training.

Job Requirements:

• A Degree level of education in ICT, IT, networking, telecommunications or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role is ideal, however junior candidates and those with NOC experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, SIP protocol
• Knowledge on Cisco equipment and/or networking
• Strong teamwork skills, attitude to learn and committed to achieving results
• A good command of the English language
• A valid driving license.
