Utility Engineer

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (TEVA) in Malta is looking to recruit a Utility Engineer to join their team. This position is based in Bulebel, Zejtun, and is on a full-time indefinite basis.

The Position:
This role is responsible for the operations and maintenance of plant equipment, services, systems, and utilities to ensure the smooth running of the facility such that production, packaging, and laboratory activities can be carried out efficiently and with minimal interruption. The candidate will ensure that plant equipment, services, and systems are in full compliance with cGMP requirements, company policies and SOPs, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, and other regulatory obligations. 

The Applicant:

• The position calls for a candidate with a first degree in Engineering, preferably also with a Maltese Engineering Warrant.
• The ideal candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills, and possess the ability to work under pressure, analyse problems rationally and provide solutions.
• The applicant shall be able to work in a team comprising both internal personnel and external contractors.
• We would like to hear from candidates who have experience in a similar post or in a post pertaining to both the mechanical and electrical fields of engineering.
• Good knowledge of building services engineering and technologies and EHS requirements would be considered an asset.
