R&D Engineer

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company is currently recruiting for an R&D Engineer. Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Performing standard engineering assignments which are typically a significant portion of a larger project. 
• Recommending any material and process specifications.
• Utilizing engineering tools to solve straightforward problems 
• Leading a small project team to accomplish project objectives as needed
• Monitoring and reporting project costs including capital and cross-functional expenses. 
• Studying and recommending any techniques to improve existing products/processes.
• Investigating new sources for raw materials or processes
• Formulating and recommending engineering policies and technical work in accordance with project and business objectives.
• Reviewing any direct reports quality of work 
• Coaching and mentoring direct reports to enhance their development within the organization.
• Creating and updating development plans for direct reports (where applicable) in line with the objectives.
