Quality Officer

Our client is looking for a Quality Officer to support and monitor compliance within the Quality Management System, helping to ensure excellence in food safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal & external audits of the company's brands
• Perform monthly site inspections with detailed photo reports
• Investigate customer complaints on-site and document findings
• Maintain and update FSQMS documents, SOPs, and work instructions
• Coordinate calibration activities with local/overseas suppliers
• Conduct draught/dispense quality audits at customer locations
• Carry out glass & hard plastic checks in production/warehouse areas
• Support traceability exercises during audits or real-life incidents
• Perform export product inspections and limited lab testing
• Identify trends in complaints and escalate recurring issues

Requirements

• Technical knowledge of quality systems, audits, and food safety practices
• Experience in a similar QA or food safety role in Malta
• Must have a valid driving license in Malta
• MQF Level 3 or 4 qualification in a related field
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with BRC, ISO, and customer-specific standards
• Confident to speak with clients and an excellent level of English
• Candidates with previous experience in a client-facing role, will be given preference

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday from 07.00hrs till 15.00hrs
