Quality Engineer

A new Quality Engineer role is now open. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that manufactured products from the process meet the quality standard agreed with the customer
• Assisting with training of personnel and developing the product and process through continuous improvements activities and corrective and preventive actions 
• Implementing and driving APQP activities
• Creating and updating process FMEAs as required
• Driving risk mitigation plans based on RPNs and introducing process improvements to reduce the RPNs
• Ensuring lean manufacturing principles on the shop floor are being adhered to 
• Supporting in external customer complaints and supporting in problem solving sessions to drive a zero defects mentality 
• Interpreting statistical data and coming up with actions to improve BIQ costs
• Assisting with the development of audit plans for product and process audits
