HandsOn Systems Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

We are an international technology company developing IoT and telematics solutions for various markets worldwide. We offer vehicle tracking, fleet management, RFID tracking and other GPS-based technologies. We are seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to lead and implement telematics solutions. Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer, to evaluate the quality of our software through manual and automated testing. Your responsibility would be to find and report bugs in our software applications, products, and systems so as to ensure only the best quality software gets released to production.

In order to succeed in this role, you should be passionate about learning and implementing quality control procedures and should have a solid background in executing quality assurance tests. You must have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and like working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Executing manual and automated test cases, as well as analyzing and reporting results.
• Identify and troubleshoot bugs as soon as they arise.
• Design, execute and maintain integration and validation tests.
• Design, develop and maintain automated testing strategies and frameworks.
• Analyse, review and assess requirements and design specifications.
• Evaluate the efficiency of existing QA processes and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant software quality assurance and manual and automated testing.
• Experience with automation testing technologies and tools (particularly Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, JMeter, Postman, and similar tools)
• Technical knowledge of web technologies and native mobile applications.
• Comfortable working in the terminal in various Linux distros.
• Strong knowledge of testing procedures and platforms.
• Experience in producing relevant documentation.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Good team working and critical thinking skills.
• A can-do attitude and a will to constantly learn and improve.
