Ably Resources are looking for a Projects & Design Engineer on behalf of our client in Malta. A successful candidate in this role will perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed as well as project accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies
- Manage and review customer enquiries
- Develop costing for the proposal stages
- Reply to required documentation and provide feedback
- Review all required details and ensure everything accounted for
- Taking account of the allocated resources team throughout the process.
- Submit chased proposals to clients’ consultants and clients
- Attend negotiation calls with clients
- Convert such opportunities into confirmed business
- Work on network building with clients and consultants and other contractors.
- Act as the point of contact for clients
- Interpret concept drawings and present design concepts to clients
- Monitor and review workload schedules and communicate
- Design all aspects of projects from inception to completion of the design
- Coordinate proposals and designs with the project stakeholders.
- Plan all aspects of project execution.
- Deploy a prioritised work schedule with appropriate time deadline targets.
- Problem Identification and resolves
- Develop & maintain relationships with all stakeholders
- Work with colleagues to create project budgets
- Order deliveries for each project phase and function
- Oversee and supervise all ongoing projects
- Maintain and update all engineering data
- Storing all technical and non-technical documents.
- Ensure that client acceptance is confirmed in writing
- Prepare detailed handover documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
- Balance project time allocation, between site coordination, office work, surveys, and meetings.
- Compile reports and notes on all required aspects.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications
- Relevant experience
- Experienced in designing ACAD
- Have a valid driving licence and car
- Preferably fluent in both the English and Maltese languages.
