Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Our client a well-established company here in Malta is seeking to employ a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join an existing dynamic team of colleagues in their Projects Office.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of estimates and tenders
• To develop tender designs and liaise with the drawing office for the preparation and coordination of workshop drawings.
• Preparation of material and equipment submittals, schedules and orders
• Monitoring and controlling overall works on projects, including:
• Planning activities, tasks and deliveries of materials and equipment as per the project’s programme of works
• Monitoring of material and labour budgets.
• Monitoring quality of installations.
• To take a leading role in problem-solving matters both in the mechanical and electrical divisions regarding installation, equipment and drawings
  
  Requirements
• Ability to accurately estimate and forecast design efforts and coordinate with the project team across disciplines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills together with organisation and people management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Maltese would also be an asset
• Currently living and working in Malta
