Maintenance Technician - Gozo

Our client, a food production company based in Gozo is looking for a Maintenance Technician. 

In this job, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the general and preventive maintenance works which involve use and repairs of machinery, infrastructure and services equipment as well as fine tuning on production lines 
• Assisting in the fabrication of machine parts and ensuring proper replacement and functionality
• Performing overhaul tasks of electrical/electronic, mechanical and pneumatic nature
• Keeping good communication with his superior and colleagues, while keeping them well informed on progress on projects assigned to him and reporting immediately any mishaps and actions that are required.
• Ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures including those of health and safety are always followed.

• Good command in English, both verbal and written
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Must be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work flexible hours
• Must be willing to relocate to Gozo

• Diploma in either Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Preferably having Wireman’s Electrical License A and/or B
• Previous work experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
