IRIS THAUMAS Ltd in Malta is looking for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our client's team. on a full-time basis. We are looking for an ambitious and hard-working individual who will administer the daily maintenance and keep oversight of subcontracted continuing airworthiness activities. The selected candidate will report to the Director of Maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation and planning of all aircraft maintenance in accordance with AAE standards and in compliance with EASA regulations.
Responsible for engineering, planning & technical records, and maintenance activities.
Exercises authority over forecasting, planning, technical records, and technical manuals.
Ensures that the skills, training, and performance of his/her staff meet qualifications as defined in CAME.
Together with the Director of Maintenance, negotiates contracts with approved Maintenance and Repair Organisations for aircraft base & line maintenance, powerplant repair and overhaul, modification work, and any other ad-hoc maintenance that may be required.
Responsible for coordinating work with technical representatives on-site during heavy checks.
Responsible for coordinating with flight operations regarding downtime of aircraft and flight schedule changes due to maintenance activities.
Responsible for the availability of current maintenance data in cooperation with the Publications Library.
Responsible for monitoring and amending the CAME as required.
Performs such other duties as may be assigned to him/her from time to time by Director Maintenance.
Experience, Requirements, and Skills:
At least two years of experience with an air carrier, commercial operator, or certified repair station, capacity including expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices. Hold good knowledge of EASA rules and regulations, Part-145, Part M, Part-CAMO, and Part-21.
Be fluent in written and spoken English.
Have an excellent sense of initiative and a positive mindset.
Education:
Hold a maintenance technician license or an engineering degree.
Working Time:
Normal working hours, Monday to Friday.
