Group Engineering Manager

Our client operates in the Hospitality industry.  As they are one of the leading groups and growing, they would like to engage a Group Head Engineering Manager to join its team.  

The Role

• You will optimise solutions, resolve any engineering problems encountered by the company's current projects & maintenance teams whilst ensuring compliance with all legal, environmental and safety regulations and engineering standards
• You will be responsible to assist in all industrial engineering projects and equipment within the company's facilities
• The role also includes the maintenance and monitoring of annual maintenance plans for the facilities
• In this role. you will create and implement preventive maintenance schedules using equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and industry accepted best practice
• You will track maintenance expenditures, make adjustments as needed and communicate progress
• You will manage risk, issues and remove barriers to ensure completion of milestones, respecting budgets
• Oversee procurement, purchasing and rentals of maintenance equipment
• Refine and finalise labour, materials, parts, methods and priorities
• Execute the facilities preventive maintenance program and work order process and coordinate effectively with operations to plan and schedule work to minimise maintenance cost, disruptions and downtime
