Facilities Manager

This job of a Facilities Manager covers the maintenance and upkeep needs of a number of leased properties and recreational / outdoor areas.  Main duties are found here under:

• Reporting directly to the Head of Department while managing a small team
• Delegate daily jobs to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the areas is carried out as per stipulated standards
• Oversee the service contract agreements of the department and ensure the right negotiations are carried out within a timely manner
• Review and approve all purchasing needs
• Handling of H&S issues within the department
• Ensure the team is well trained and motivated
• Maintain a good relationship with customers
