Engineering Manager

Our company is one of the leading companies in Malta. As they are growing, they would like to engage an Engineering Manager.

The Role

• You will be reporting into the Head of Operations
• You will prepare the yearly preventive maintenance plans for all the plant and auxiliary department
• You will also prepare a yearly maintenance budget
• Ensure that maintenance support is available to ensure that all facility equipment is running efficiently and effectively
• Ensure immediate attention is given to all equipment breakdowns to minimise line downtime, efficiency, and quality
• You will handle projects and ensure that they are delivered to the required specifications and deadlines
• You will monitor all site and plant equipment
• Ensure that spare parts levels are optimised and delivered on time
• Ensure that all plant and auxiliary equipment is maintained according to valid health and safety regulations
• Conduct employee performance review based on job descriptions
• Maintain and update operating and training manual for the maintenance department
• Maintain a tracking system for work orders, procedures, forms, and maintenance history of plant equipment
• You will track, analyse and improve KPIs
   

• Have excellent Managerial skills
• Be Analytical
• Be organised and timely

• A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
• Have good IT knowledge
