A new position as a Biomedical/ Electronics Technician is now available. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing new equipment by adjusting, establishing, testing, and calibrating performance
- Approving potential biomedical equipment by guaranteeing that codes are adhered to
- Directing operation of biomedical equipment by providing demonstrations, supplying information and data, instructing others in the care and use of equipment, and answering all questions
- Performing tests on biomedical equipment, following preventive maintenance guides, repairing and troubleshooting break downs and evaluating service contracts
- Exploring opportunities to add significance to job duties, and by accomplishing different and innovative requests
- Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment by fulfilling and recommending procedures, performing safety tests, complying with codes, and guiding and training health care and medical personnel
Education & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electronics field
- Biomedical experience is considered an asset
Skills
- Equipment calibration and repair
- Sterilization skills
- Good level of English language
- Possession of a clean driving licence
