Electronics Technician (Biomedical)

A new position as a Biomedical/ Electronics Technician is now available. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Installing new equipment by adjusting, establishing, testing, and calibrating performance
• Approving potential biomedical equipment by guaranteeing that codes are adhered to
• Directing operation of biomedical equipment by providing demonstrations, supplying information and data, instructing others in the care and use of equipment, and answering all questions
• Performing tests on biomedical equipment, following preventive maintenance guides, repairing and troubleshooting break downs and evaluating service contracts
• Exploring opportunities to add significance to job duties, and by accomplishing different and innovative requests
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment by fulfilling and recommending procedures, performing safety tests, complying with codes, and guiding and training health care and medical personnel

Education & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electronics field
• Biomedical experience is considered an asset

Skills

• Equipment calibration and repair
• Sterilization skills
• Good level of English language
• Possession of a clean driving licence
