Electrical Engineer

Job Description
IAutomate (Malta) Ltd is seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to help us meet the increasing demand for new projects and repairs from our customers. The candidate must be fluent in both the Maltese and English languages. He/she will have a hands-on approach to all electrical systems, fault finding and design of new control panels. Knowledge of Pneumatic systems and other basic mechanics will be considered an asset however Senior Engineers can help. The ideal candidate shall be able to work in a team and be well organized and motivated.

Main Responsibilities;

• Design and wiring of control panels.
• Supervision of repairs on equipment and machines.
• Preparation of project offers for customers.
• Guidance to store supervisor regarding stock material to be ordered.
• Responding to emergency call outs.

Preferred Skills;

• Fluent in both Maltese and English Languages.
• Level 6, (or National Certificate equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Driving License (Level B or higher).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software for electrical drawings.
• (Optional) Licence A and Licence B or equivalent for single-phase and 3-phase.
• (Optional) Previous Knowledge in SAGE software inventory and project management.
