A new opportunity has arisen with an exciting company who are looking for an experienced Continuing Airworthiness Engineer to act as the Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Engineer.
As a Deputy CAMO Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and airworthiness of the aircraft fleet and ensuring compliance with all EASA regulations.


You will report to the CAMO Director and will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing the aircraft maintenance program in accordance with EASA regulations and company policies
  • Providing guidance and technical support to maintenance personnel and external maintenance providers
  • Managing the airworthiness review process and ensure timely completion of required inspections and maintenance tasks
  • Analysing data and reports to identify trends and develop solutions to improve aircraft reliability and safety

  • Liaising with the regulatory authorities, OEMs, and other stakeholders as required

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Must be residing in Malta
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of the relevant sample of the DHC6 type of aircraft gained through a formalised training course. these courses should be at least at the level equivalent to Part-66 appendix III Level 1 General Familiarisation and could be provided by a Part- 147 organisation, by the manufacturer, or by any other organisation accepted by the competent authority
  • Thorough knowledge of CAME
  • Understanding of the applicable regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of HF principles
  • Knowledge of the applicable ICAO, EU and EASA regulations
  • Understanding of safety investigation techniques and root cause methodologies
Education & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience of which at least 2 should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position
  • A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education acceptable to TM-CAD
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practises
