We are currently seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team in a dual capacity as AV Technician & Stores Maintenance Assistant—a vital role supporting both the technical execution of events and the efficient management of our back-of-house operations.

Role Overview:

This combined role is perfect for a hands-on, technically skilled individual with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring flawless AV support for our events, conferences, and guest services, while also managing the upkeep and organisation of the hotel’s stores and maintenance areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio-Visual (AV) Duties:

• Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment for conferences, meetings, and events held within the hotel.

• Provide on-the-spot technical support to clients and internal departments during live events.

• Ensure all AV equipment is maintained, stored correctly, and regularly tested for optimal performance.

• Liaise with event coordinators and clients to meet technical requirements efficiently and professionally.

Stores & Maintenance Support Duties:

• Manage inventory and ensure the proper storage of equipment and supplies.

• Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the storage areas.

• Assist with receiving deliveries, stock management, and distribution of equipment and supplies across departments.

• Ensure compliance with hotel health and safety standards in all areas of work.

• Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of necessary materials.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in AV technology and/or maintenance roles.

• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV equipment.

• Basic technical maintenance and practical problem-solving skills.

• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to work with team members and clients.

• Flexible schedule, including availability for early starts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
