Lufthansa Technik Malta is looking to recruit Aircraft/Structures Mechanics to join their team on a full-time basis.
Overall Purpose of Position:
The role of a Mechanic is that of a performer, they can perform and stamp in the ‘performed by column’ any task in any area on any aircraft maintained at LTM. Their work must be inspected by an appropriately approved person, apart from the work which they perform in their designated area of work, which can be attested by the appropriately approved person.
Technical Responsibilities:
The correct performance of all tasks assigned.
Stamp for all work performed in the “performed by” column upon complete accomplishment of tasks
Ensure the use of the correct documentation and procedures when carrying out any task.
Gain additional level 1 authorisation in any area requested by Bay Manager subject to a maximum of 3 areas.
Must follow all health, safety, and security regulations
Follow procedures as set down in the approved aircraft maintenance data and IQ MOVE.
Follow all standard Company procedures as issued and updated from time to time.
Attend all training as required.
Work in any bay/workshop as assigned by superiors;
Order parts and raise Defect Job Cards as necessary;
To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the Company from time to time.
Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:
As a minimum, pass EASA Part 66 CAT A Modules or Relevant Structures Skills qualifications.
