Projects Estimator

A new role of a Draughtsperson / Estimator is now available with a leading contractor company that's involved in a variety of residential and commercial projects. Reporting to the Head of Projects, your duties will include;

• Analyzing plans, bill of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs and submit our offer.
• Sourcing and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in the preparation and submitting of tender documents.
• Provide administrative support to ongoing projects.
• Assessing the financial, technical, and operational risks of the project.
• Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Preparing Interim and final bills as per measurements taken onsite.
• Working closely with key members of the projects team and liaising with clients and suppliers.
• Any other duties emanating from the role.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to put together a professional presentation.
• Ability to create reports on costing data.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Project and ACAD.
• Fluency in Maltese and English is a must.
• Must be based in Malta and hold a driving license

• 2 – 3 years of experience working as a draughtsperson / estimator.
• Diploma/Degree or any construction related Diploma
