SAW Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Drafts Person (Production) to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Description:
Analysis of designed furniture to identify possible improvements and facilitate assembly in production and on-site
Communicate with the design team on a daily basis to implement improvements and change standards
Compiling a complete list of all the materials, fittings, and components required for each project. Such lists must be communicated with the correct individuals to commence the acquisition of all the required materials
Preparation of the cutting lists and optimising the cutting process in order to have the maximum yield possible in the cutting department.
Perform the post-processing according to the CAD design and oversee that no issues are encountered on the particular machines following this process.
Must make sure that all the departments are occupied on a daily basis and identify bottlenecks in production and adjust the workload accordingly
Requirements:
The ideal candidate ideally will have a good know-how of the furniture industry or a related sector.
The candidate must have good communication skills in Maltese and/or English and good IT skills.
The candidate must be able to work within the production team and must have a problem-solving attitude.
