Team Lead Data Engineer - Operations

Our client is hiring for a Team Lead for their Data Operations team in a dynamic operations and support environment. This is a new and exciting role that will have you working with Big Data while allowing you to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure secure and efficient operation of ETLs & ELTs
• Ensure big data analytics are secure and operational day-to-day.
• Secure data lakes, data warehouse, various reporting channels and visualization tools,
• Work closely with the Business Intelligence teams to incorporate your responsibilities with the rest of the business.
• Develop and deploy new features and upgrade existing infrastructure and processes.
• Root Cause Analysis
• Ensure operations are not impacted by any stoppages, year-round planning and proactive monitoring of data quality and database monitoring, along with backup and recovery processes being implemented across the ecosystem.
• Adherence and enforcement of GDPR
