bet365 is looking for a Junior Marketing Analyst to join the Digital Marketing team. As a Junior Marketing Analyst, you will support in executing data pipelines, managing and restructuring data, and report on insights.

You will deliver real-time and actionable insights and will collaborate with colleagues across various locations (Stoke, Gibraltar, Malta and the US) while contributing to a culture of data-driven decision-making. 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Analyst who will assist in executing data pipelines from various marketing APIs, restructure and manage data on Google BigQuery and create insightful data visualisations on Looker Studio. 

You will be responsible for data ingestion, pipeline development, support in investigations and will leverage technical expertise (Python, SQL and Google Cloud) to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Python and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL and GoogleSQL).
  • Proven experience using cloud services.
  • Highly numerate and proficient in Excel, visualisation tools, scripting, and algorithm design.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control in a production environment.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated vertical would be beneficial. 
  • Strong interest in data mining, data engineering, and machine learning.
  • Experience in data modelling, such as using marketing mixed models.
  • Comfortable writing and maintaining production code. 
  • Familiar working with various API formats and data mining.
  • Knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GO or Rust would be beneficial.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing the process of acquiring data from various internal and external sources.
  • Building and maintaining automated workflows to efficiently transfer and transport data.
  • Responding to data requests from the wider marketing teams and collaborating to build dashboards that allow the monitoring of KPIs.
  • Analysing marketing campaign performance metrics and identifying key insights.
  • Ensuring that data and marketing performance adhere to the Company and industry regulations.
  • Working effectively with all internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in technology and becoming a proficient practitioner of the technologies used by the team. 
  • Conscientiously contributing to current documentation and version management.
