Data Analyst

What you will be doing:

• Handling the collection and presentation of data related to the submissions to the Central Bank of Malta with the support of the Finance Team.
• Monitoring scheme data integrity programs to ensure compliance and addressing issues with relevant internal or external (PMs/Processors/Scheme) parties where non-compliance events are triggered.
• Leveraging data reporting insights from scheme solutions (ie VAP/Portfolio Analytics).
• Analyzing data and optimising processes.
• Monitoring PMs acceptance rates and other metrics to proactively detect anomalies and raise/address issues accordingly.
• Supporting the Service Operations function, where required.
• Taking ownership of projects and working on own initiative.

• At least 2 years of working experience with SQL.
• Strong knowledge of IT/Data Analytics.
• Previous experience or knowledge of the fintech industry and on how card scheme and payment processing work will be considered an asset.
• Experience with JIRA is a plus.
