Crypto Blockchain Engineer

Our globally-known client within the financial services is on the lookout for a Crypto Blockchain Engineer to join their growing team in Malta. 

Your Responsibilities: 

• Hands-on experience with setting up nodes for Bitcoin and Ethereum.
• Work on data analytics with major and critical data points in crypto transactions.
• Retrieve internal transactions and smart contracts information from nodes.
• Understand and analyze the links and correlations between the transactions within the crypto data.
• Provide guidance on data analysis and visualization of blockchain data.
• Use scripting languages in order to perform crypto data extraction.

• Good knowledge in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain.
• Knowledge of data structures (candidates with knowledge within the crypto field will be given preference).
• Experience with Docker, Cloud and EMR.
• Knowledge and experience in SQL, Python and/or Json/R.
• Experience in Tableau, PowerBI or any other visualization tool.
• Experience developing software applications and features in an Agile environment.
• Self-motivated with a can-do positive attitude.
• A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role.

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or alike would be a nice-to-have, but this is not a must-have.
