Foster Clark Products Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Business Analyst (Finance) to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
Reporting to the CFO, the Business Analyst - Finance is responsible to analyse the company's financial business processes, identifying areas for improvement, designing solutions in collaboration with IT, and driving the onboarding of process automation projects within the Finance function. The BA will be the Finance process and IT subject matter expert providing department process and operations documentation, finance user training, and finance IT process support.
Key Accountabilities:
Finance ERP Business Analysis;
- Drive Digital Transformation within the FCP Finance function
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of FCP finance department processes and relevant ERP functionality
- Analyse finance business processes, maintain process documentation, and provide training to finance users when necessary
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and process automation within the Finance function and work closely with the ICT function for solution delivery and process onboarding
- Create and maintain BI dashboards and reports for finance analytics and management reporting
- Perform business process analysis, define and document requirements, and support the deployment and control of business process automation solutions
- Provide 1st support to finance systems end users
- Support data quality and security audit processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education;
- MQF Level 6 qualification in Accounts, Business & IT, or Business Analytics
Experience;
- Minimum of 5 years of Finance & IT professional experience.
- Experience in process improvement and automation projects
Technical Skills;
- Capability to perform effective business analysis and engage positively with Finance process owners
- Strong knowledge of Process Mapping Techniques and requirements gathering
- Knowledge of ERP financial systems
- Technical hands-on knowledge of Project management and delivery of financial business solutions
- Understanding of financial business environments and related ICT requirements
- Understanding of Industry standard Business intelligence & report building technologies
