Centrecom Limited in Malta is looking to recruit a Sales, Reservations, and Ticketing Officer to join their team on a full/part-time basis. 

Job Role: 
Provide comprehensive best-in-class sales support across all channels and segments to all customers in order to achieve commercial and service level targets. Support the airline and its customers ensuring that all requests are actioned promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively promote and sell routes, fares, and services by telephone, email, face-to-face, and other communication channels.
  • Create reservations, and arrange ticketing and fare collection as directed.
  • Rebook tickets, execute the necessary changes as required and resolve booking problems.
  • Sell ancillaries including merchandise, seats, pet in the cabin, gift vouchers, UMNR, and Business Class Upgrades that might be applicable.
  • Liaise with all outstations and support with all ticketing and any other issues on all flights available. Support outstations during check-in and before an operation before the aircraft leaves from outstations.
  • Quote, book, support, and handle ministerial and presidential bookings.
  • Handle and assist booking requests received from all passengers requesting assistance on medical travel.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by solving any problems faced and handling all complaints promptly.
  • Daily reconciliation of Credit Cards, Cash, and Invoices including paperwork sent to Accounting/Banking sections.
  • Compile regular and ad-hoc reports ensuring these are completed accurately and within the stipulated timeframes.
  • Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs. Communicate information to clients accurately and appropriately.
  • Maintain a high level of product and services knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.


Requirements:

  • Strong Customer Service Skills 
  • Fares and Ticketing / Reservation skills 
  • Skilled user of MS Office packages & GDS systems ( knowledge of Sabre is preferred )
  • Superior communication skills – written & spoken in both Maltese and English
  • Ability to work under stress, while at the same time exhibit a high degree of productivity 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Airlines' Sales Experience and airport services will be considered an asset
  • Candidates will be working on a shift basis rostered between Monday and Sunday between operating hours 05:00 till 22:00.
